Rant about: Agilent U1186A Thermocouple (K-Type) and Temperature Probe Adapter

This rant is especially about the Agilent Temperature Probe Adapter.
Since the end of 2012 I did pinpoint the problem to Agilent Senior Market Development Manager in USA, but nothing changed in the last two years.

The problem is obvious and it can even cause damage in the input banana sockets if there is any misuse when this Temperature Probe Adapter are in use.

The pictures bellow demonstrates clearly the problem, and even pinpointing other more wise made options.
