Title: History fact EU: August 25 1891, first transmission of AC three - phace system

This topic it is much different one than anything posted at ITTSB Blog so far, as it has to do with pure history facts.

My curiosity this is the one 100% responsible and the one to blame.  :)

Everything started by me looking pictures of an older project, the Presentation Vintage Industrial multimeter BBC Goerz Metrawatt MA4 S.
I was after to find the specific manufacturing date, by using traces due internet search.

Instead I made the discovery that BBC firm from Switzerland, this started as manufacturer of first ever electrical power stations within the geographical borders of EUROPE.

We, central and south Europeans of our times, we lacking history facts, especially about our own recent past.
BBC this translates to Brown, Boveri & Cie.  former Swiss electrical engineering group based in Baden
And they succeed to become a team with the larger brands of Germany of 1900 up to 1980.
AEG and even SIEMENS, they use BBC as a partner and a school, about electrical components development and even machinery.

I did learn of what I was looking for, according to facts BBC added their logo to analog and digital multimeter in the period of 1973 up to 1988, then it was forced to change their name, because it become part of a larger group of companies.

All facts coming from German Wiki pages, and in respect to copy rights I will simply add links of Google translated pages, for anyone interested.

In summary
What it is worth for us to store in our memory, this is that when the development of electrical test and measurement tools, this is directly related with significant electrical applications, the outcome as product, this is a true qualifying one.

An good Asian example, this is HIOKI E.E. Japan, the development of their tools, this is directly correlated, with electrical systems that the Japanese power company and industry using.
Other good examples are DEERE and BRYMEN from Taiwan, both are related with electrical engineering and won first interest and trust from their domestic market, and then internationally.

I have wrote that and before, ITTSB Blog this is a bridge (that is based in Greece), so all of us to gain awareness of THE BEST tools made by the BEST industries no matter their location.
It is still unfortunate that China mainland even at 2021, due domestic policies and mindset issues, they are not in position to be recorded as innovation leaders according the quality and performance of their current production.
