Europeans needs much more sensitive Clamp Meter than Americans.

The video below even as basic example of how a motor acts as generator, it did motivated me to start this topic.

When an American tests a 65W bulb he expects 0.7A at 110V.
At 220V mains the 65W bulb will use half than that amperage.

The problem is that most cheap clamp meters starts measuring from 0.5A and above.
Therefore if you do not pay attention in this specification your New clamp meter could be proven very insensitive and not that useful.
