For many years Aliexpress sellers was freely distributing / selling, electrical test and measurement tools, and shipped them to EU even if these products was not complying so to be imported at European borders.

Here we have a different story at the background about this Fresh added option/restriction at Aliexpress.
Mainland China industry this now has a voice on top of any Aliexpress sellers.

For example, any Chinese brand today it can restrict a specific product model this shipped out of China.

I am assuming, that any Chinese brand which has invest at organizing overseas sales network, it is entitled to set limits and block trading of goods even due Aliexpress.
Primarily its a measure of protection of best interest of their own overseas sales network.

This regional restrictions for EU it might damage mostly the ego of a group of people = low-price hunters, which thought taking advantage of pricing for the domestic market of China.

In conclusion, if regional restriction activates for specific product model?  Then stop searching entire Aliexpress about it.
