ITTSB has the pleasure to present first, the close up pictures of one well designed accessory.
The NR38 gets all the way in the banana inputs of the multimeter, plus is wide enough from all sides, so to offer better mechanical stability from any other similar solution, which does not use shrouded bananas.
An similar to this accessory is the Agilent U1184A Temperature Probe Adapter.
Which looks to need further improvements, due the fact that any accidental pooling of the thermal wire will cause stress on the banana inputs.
The NR38 which DER EE offers as optional accessory, looks as one much better implementation,
and naturally worth's some credit.
Personally I believe that it is even better the addition of shrouded covers, which will assist further the mechanical and contact stability.
