Title: Just say Good Bye at "CAT II 1000V" rating for multimeter at 2023 and later

IEC 61010-2-033:2019
Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use - Part 2-033: Particular requirements for hand-held multimeters and other meters for domestic and professional use, capable of measuring mains voltage.

Effective from now and on, it is forbidden the use of rating "CAT II 1000V" as multimeter safety classification.
Instead all products (new multimeter) of that safety rating, they have to be described as "CAT III 600V".

These news are more related or aiming any DMM brand / manufacturers.
Multimeter users has no reason to be alerted, if they do use quality made multimeter, them be registered as for USA & EU import models, due reputable brands.
