Title: DC power distribution
Post by: 3xSpecs on January 08, 2020, 05:38:18 AM
Hello
I'm looking for any information on DC power distribution as I plan to use DC (solar and battery sources) to power modems. computers led lights etc.
Each supply ranges from 5v~ 24v. I do not want to use an inverter.
Any info would be much appreciated.

This is an interesting topic.
But I am willing to help in everything related to electrical test equipment required for monitoring energy in to such installation.

Unfortunately for your requirement, Solar installations they are bonded with Inverter even for the part of battery charging.
Your best bet for testing and exploration, this is getting a used  APC 2000VA  SUA XL UPS,  several battery packs can be loaded to it and get charged.
