Title: Negative Ion Generator, Smart Kit No1129 (Mains powered Ionizer) New Project
Post by: Kiriakos GR on February 04, 2014, 01:06:07 AM
Today I received a useful gift from a local friend.    :)
Actually one of those gifts which are  called as: In return of a favor.

This is made by company called as SMART KIT  No1129 Negative Ion Generator.

The circuitry came undamaged and works as it should, but not at it full performance.
The video below is an amazing coverage of the specific topic, and even if I was aware of the most details about ionizers, what I learned from it is the importance of those pins to be of a sharp needle.

The PCB arrived as is, but by watching this video I am now aware of what steps I need to follow so get in a box and operate in a 24/24 bases.

Below the link of the very informative video.
And a picture and the schematic of my KIT.

Also it could be useful as a high voltage reference source, for testing HV probes  ;)
