Lens Filter for Bezel assembly this is a topic which DIYers never pay much of attention when they use LED digits at panel meter applications.
And neither any one think or has awareness, that 1$ worth voltmeter with out bezel and filter, this is half product ( unfinished product).
Lens filters they do significant work, they are essential to be used especially at LED digits.
1) Lens filters this is cheapest way for LED display brightens control
2) It does remove annoying glares caused by day light
3) It does increase visibility under artificial light, by increasing contrast of its one digit by removing unwanted bright spots at entire bezel
4) Lens filter also turns every LED display not only eyes friendly but also as camera friendly, speaking of taking footage for making a video for You-tube.
4) Lens filter will add uniform color in all LED digit segments.
Next time think twice before you buy any digital panel meter circuitry with out bezel and lens filter. ;)
