Title: Hot glue gun STEINEL Gluematic 3002
Post by: giorgos on July 31, 2014, 07:58:37 AM
One of the tools that I mostly use, is hot glue gun.
It is very useful for me in many applications, especially when I want to mount alarm cables in wall corners.
I was own a STEINEL gluematic 3002 gun since 2003, which is still full functional although it has worked many many hours....
Unfortunately one day, it felt down from a ladder where I was on, and a small piece of plastic that holds its external housing, broke.
For first aid I use a copper wire to hold the housing of the gun, in order to finish my job.
But the time for replace it has come...
I had not have to think for other choices, because this model was excellent for me. So I bought the same model again for 20 Euros.
Also I bought an extra long nozzle for it ,which is very useful when you want to reach narrow areas.

Does the Hot glue dripping when the gun is set to it stand?

My gun does that, so there is no chance to leave it unattended.

It doesnt dripping, because nozzle has a mechanism inside like a valve.
When you press the trigger and glue has more pressure, the valve opens and allows the way out of glue.
