Today one good friend of my made me a gift of six special screw drivers (for mobile phone repairs ). 8)
Few hours later I started research about finding this product manufacturer over the internet, and I did.
BEST-9900S 6pcs precision screwdriver set

BEST brand manufacturer this informs that these screwdriver tips are made of heat-treated iron and Titanium plated (S2) but this is not all the story,
these tools are also gold plated.
When ever I am informed that Made in China product this is gold plated, my next move this is knife test over the surface, regular gold paint this gets off right away.
Specific BEST-9900S it did pass my mini test, and therefore this claim about Titanium plated tools does not look fake to me.
Chrome vanadium VS Titanium plated hand tools ?
At 80s Europe was a paradise for shopping ( Made in Europe) Chrome vanadium tools, robustness factor this was tested by millions of people and tecnical teams, but today this is 35 years later and things has changed.
Budget Titanium plated tools are all fakes, up to now I have not see in the market any Titanium plated tools as best replacement of Chrome vanadium tools.
Titanium plating this is a job for brands them be truly specialist in what they do.
Right now only thought that comes in my head this is that we need to wait another 20 years, so us form an opinion, if Made in China Titanium plated hand tools, they are any better than Chrome vanadium ones.
I would love to get more feedback from our members, but please use other comparison point that budget drill bits. :)
