They are now two decades that I do not get involved with RF work, no more RG58 cable stripping, no more PL connectors soldering over RG58.
So my trusted cable stripper of the past, it should be adjusted so this to become useful for LAN cables.

The good thing is that this inexpensive tool, it is designed to be adjustable.
The bad news are that most people are not aware of the secret, because they do not pay any attention at the tiny user manual.

a) The tool has four presets, RG6 this is for the largest supported cable diameter (orange V-Block).

b)The tool also has two blades with adjustable tension for its one.
At coaxial cables we need stripping at fixed length for compatibility with PL connector.
With a single rotation blade A this cut the beginning of striping and blade B this cut the end point of stripping, and both blades together work as markers (stripping area guide).

c)  For LAN cables we need a single blade to do the job.
So the second blade of this tool, this must be canceled, and we do that by removing tension due the appropriate adjustable screw.

d) The PRIME blade this also must be now adjusted, so to have proper tension for the insulation of LAN cable roll, that we are going to use.

In summary, the adjustable tools they offer a leverage, when we have to deal with a project and not with a single cable strip.
