At 17-11-2003 it was created the complete user manual about the ESCORT 3146A, Dual Display 5.5 digits 50,000 counts bench-top multimeter.

In the past decade since 2012, that ITTSB Blog this activated it own radar and started scanning entire DMM market, I didn't spot any sources of enthusiasm in favor of the specific instrument.

Today, 20 years later from product release, I did a quick search over the internet about PDF user manual / product specifications.

ESCORT 3146A this is not any source of technical innovation since back in time until today.
This instrument has lower Ohm range of 500 Ohm.  :P

Regarding measurements per second delivery, 3146A this is tremendously slow at Dual display mode, specifications sheet mention 1.3 to 2.0 Readings per second.

DCV Accuracy  0.02% +4  (Per Year).
DCA Accuracy  0.05% +5  (100 Ohm shunt).  500 Micro Ampere up to 5 Milli Ampere.

I am now feel totally clueless of what market or electrical application this ESCORT 3146A designed so to serve and or compete?

Dual display and slow as cow, repairs of analog audio systems this is the only sector that it might shown as useful.
