Looks like that some of those SIGLENT portable scopes they have problems regarding the multimeter functionality out of the box.

What actually happens is that the complete multimeter functionality stays frozen.
ppl for Russia discovered the cause of the problem on the PCB which is responsible for this DMM malfunction.
Bad soldering (cold join) (possibly production fault) over the crystal solder leads which control the multimeter section needs to be re-soldered.
