Title: BENNING multimeters
Post by: giorgos on April 01, 2016, 03:31:22 PM
One of the biggest companies of electrical equipment in Greece, offers exclusive for sale BENNING multimeter's.
I found their price too high comparing with their performance and reliability.
Any opinion about this?

Most BENNING multimeter's them are made by APPA in Taiwan.
Medium size APPA models they are well constructed, they have good quality regarding safety & fuses.
But they are very slow regarding electronics, and also the LCD display at the full size meters, this looks terrible with bulky digits.

Megger / AVO410 this is also made by APPA.
This version has a much better LCD display that what APPA selects to use in their own branded meters.

So BENNING may be a good choice for electricians who are working with simple installations.

If you agree buying only robustness and safety? Then yes, this is what you get.
