Title: Bussmann DMM-B-44/100 stock destruction due poor storage conditions

This story is about my last adventure on eBay.  :P

I did order quantity of six DMM-B-44/100, from an reputable seller in China, according to eBay feedback.
Upon delivery, I did discover that all fuses were a victim of poor storage conditions.

According to my theory,  low side of carton box (several pack of 10 or 100), they become wet, and stayed as wet for several months at this seller warehouse.
First outcome= bottom side nickel plating  this were oxidized.

Second mistake at the warehouse, they stack too many boxes of fuses on the same pile.
Second outcome = Low layer of fuses, it were squeezed and began getting dis-formed.

Third mistake at the warehouse, fuses shipping pallet this were relocated several times within the warehouse due forklift truck.
Due the careless handling of the driver, top placed fuses worked as hammers, at the low layer of fuses.
Third outcome = Low layer of fuses copper contacts they are full of bumps and scratches. (They were hammered)  :P

The photographs bellow they are a great proof about this incident.
From the six fuses, one has totally lost it alignment.
The other five, they are suffer from slight misalignment and oxidation.

Do I feel lucky because I will receive more replacements?
No, because I do not feel comfortable so to use these fuses.
What if this oxidation cause damage at the DMM fuse holder? (in long term)
 
In conclusion, never be hasty (quick, hurried, fast, swift, rapid, speedy) so to deliver buyer feedback.
Always take your time, and carefully inspect the goods.
According to my book, this seller is 100% responsible for this incident, because despite the abuse of the goods in the warehouse, he did not bothered to perform quality control inspection prior selling these goods to me.

I think that a few of these fuses they might be rescued, by the use scotch-brite sponges.
Just an Idea.  :)
