Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the expansion of its handheld digital multimeter (DMM) portfolio with the introduction of the Agilent U1240A Series. Leveraging technical innovations from the multi-award-winning U1250A Series, this new series provides functions that are optimal for installation and maintenance applications.

I am very surprised by looking images at eBay of used DMM of these Blue models.
And the 70% of listings appears having severe degradation at rubber parts and even over the range switch.
It is like anything blue over it, this to turn in to white dust, and to deteriorating.  :(

I am unable to say, if this is a problem of the actual materials in use?
Or if their owner's was lacking intelligence, and used gasoline, or WD40 as cleaning agent? :P
