Us using Microsoft outlook (e-mail client) since 90s, we are well aware that Junk E-mail folder this is a very secure environment.
Within Junk E-mail folder, all messages can be read as plain text, and any external links they get blocked.
By this way, any e-mail message this designed to track you down as active e-mail address, this will fail to inform the sender.
Best advice for professionally working people, which them using e-mail.
This is to delete any message send by unknown sender, with out reading it.
E-mail fishing
Owners of web sites, we know that any listed e-mail address (listed at contacts page), this is harvested by all sort of automated trackers / bots.

Junk E-mail folder this is your best defensive tool .
For a higher level of protection, never review any E-mail, due a mobile phone.
