Title: High performance NiMH cells manufacturing with Super Lattice Alloy (SLA) at 2025
Post by: Kiriakos GR on October 18, 2025, 03:20:29 PM
Very recently I came across of several sellers listings about Energizer NiMH.
Within product description Energizer this using at recently made cells, Super Lattice Alloy (SLA) this boosting allot overall battery performance and characteristics.

I am searching for relative white parer from Energizer, nothing appears at the results.

AI this were kind enough to inform me that Sanyo Eneloop this using relative technology since first product circulation on
November 14, 2005.

The name "Super Lattice Alloy" was developed and patented by Sanyo for use in their NiMH battery electrodes, including the eneloop brand.

All true, but since AI this cannot find official documentation from the end of Energizer,  there is a single standing speculation.
Sanyo - Panasonic patent this expired after the limit of 20 years, and today this technology it is somewhat shared.

Energizer Extreme NiMH datasheet, this deliver evidence of truly remarkable behavior at rapid discharge at 4.5A.
If Panasonic has such an ace in their sleeve,  which they do, they using it at Eneloop Pro.

And now after combining Artificial and Human intelligence, we come to a new conclusion.
High performance NiMH cells manufacturing, this list includes only two names so far.  ;)

And or AI text:
Implications of patent expiration
The expiration of these patents is a primary reason why competing manufacturers, including Energizer, can now market products using similar "Super Lattice Alloy" technology.
The original technology is now in the public domain, allowing other companies to adopt it without paying licensing fees.

This has resulted in widespread availability of low-self-discharge rechargeable batteries from various brands, as the core technological secrets are no longer protected by patent law.

Be blessed your data center .. thanks
