Title: Two of Teslanol chemicals which can serve European Metrology
Post by: Kiriakos GR on May 13, 2026, 12:57:42 PM
Teslanol = Germany, the land of bored Germans, them not accepting to use English labels over their products.   :P
( Wentronic GmbH )

In the positive side of things, they are two Testanol chemicals, which in the past 16 years, they succeed to earn customers preference.

ELEKTRO-MECHANIK-REINIGER SPRAY 400ML | Teslanol
And or fine-cleaning spray SP    (white / dark green bottle)

Residue free cleaning agent for electrical contacts, removes nicotine, oil, increases conductivity.

I am recommending this for specific tasks, at bench-top DMM Repairs.

...........................................................................................

KONTAKT SPRAY T6 OSZILLIN 400ML
And or Regular contacts spay T6    (white / Red bottle)

cleaning agent for electrical contacts, minimal lubrication properties, maximal protection properties, protective film.

This product started it name as KONTAKT and TUNER SPRAY.
Analog tuner,  this died along the analog technology of FM radio.
Now Teslanol, this using KONTAKT SPRAY as single description.

I am recommending this for test leads maintenance, Gold plated and Nickel plated.

...........................................................................................

Since this is not a sponsored presentation,  I will simply offer my vote in favor of the generous 400ml bottles.  :)

Note: KONTAKT CHEMIE Kontakt 60, this is a different class of a product.
This is a dedicated cleaner and lubricant, this is more a general purpose.

Today I did restock my workbench supplies.

I am assuming that I got fresh stock, production year 7/2024+
Both top plastic covers, they are white.

In my surprise Teslanol importer in Greece,  he added another one label, Quick reference + Dangerous chemicals warning, on top of product description.  :P
Even my self which I did studied the German language for a few months at my youth, I am unable to read details.

Local small retail stores in EU, they cannot compete with German mega stores at pricing.
By getting local stock within my own town, and pickup by my self,  no cash were wasted as shipping costs.

Interesting pack of discoveries and or in praxis verification. 8)

Fine-cleaning spray SP ... this smells as unleaded gasoline  :)

I have here an 30 years old Japanese amplifier.
Audio Inputs selector this started misbehaving, poor contact.

I did remove KENWOOD KA-7020 top cover, rotated the amp by 90 degrees.
PCB with all selectors become parallel to by bench.
At first I blast both selector's (INPUT and REC) with Fine-cleaning spray SP from all directions.
Indeed nicotine and anything else when away.

20 Minutes waited to dry,  then blasted these parts with contacts spay T6.
First false impression, this has too much oil.
In 30 Minutes, contacts spay T6 this evaporated,  there was not any oil lubricant traces.

I did blast KENWOOD KA-7020 INPUT selectors PCB, and with compressed air.
So to remove faster, anything in liquid form from AMP internals.

100% success  8)

Second test ...   SONY CDP /XE210
Power On switch, PCB soldered, this had issues, unstable connection.
At this one, I did use contacts spay T6 alone.

100% success  again 8)

Third test ...  I did cleaned any dedicated test leads for my 8846A.
Clean contacts, even if dust was hiding over banana plugs, this is now when away.  ;)
