This is probably the last time, that I will mention HIOKI EU / JAPAN brand, in my web space.
HIOKI brand in the past seven years or so, this were transformed or mutated, in to something totally antisocial.
This time, the powers that be, decided to restrict consumers from accessing Firmware updates.
The new norm, this is consumers paying a fee at authorized service center, so them to perform the job.
Firmware updates this is the way, for software developers them to correct their mistakes.
HIOKI now imposes a fee at their customers , so them to receive such a software fix ?
I never thought that it will come a day, of me proposing a massive boycott against HIOKI products.
HIOKI keep your focus in Japan, our Euro coins will go to a few other brands with a better company policy.
At any brand which this respects European laws and European consumer rights.
