Since the release of DER-5000, fourteen years ago ... DEREE in Taiwan this stays static at product design.
In deed TL-22 Tweezers for DE-5000 LCR meter, they are usable but not perfect enough.
The major problem, this is Tweezers plastic body, at the task of ZERO calibration, this probe its not rigid enough.
Copper tips cannot stay firmly connected, and or unmovable for the required time of 30 seconds.
At regular measurements, TL-22 Tweezers they work as expected.
But with out a perfect made ZERO calibration, especially resistance measurements, they lose precision.
Approximately three years ago, one new Tweezers design shown in the market.
This is totally no-name.
Tweezers body appears as white.
The new addition, this is a plastic fork (guide) this added at the middle of total Tweezer arm length.
This new mechanical addition aims, to stabilize copper tips diagonal movement.
Unfortunately, any retail sources of this new designed Tweezers, they offer it with cheap cables and connectors attached.
UNDER 10 EUR at eBay...
Another product design difference, copper tips, they are shown as wide, and not as sharp as they appear at TL-22 Tweezers.
There is always a chance, of us to need having both of these pair of Tweezers design.
From the other hand, I am unable to deliver any recommendation in favor of something untested.
But I do make few thoughts going DIY, and convert a long nose pliers in to something else.
