Micro SD cards, they are with us for many decades.
12 yeas ago, Samsung made their first IP67 phone, the Galaxy S5 G900F

Because of this phone purchase, this having superior characteristics, I got enthusiastic and were motivated getting only the best Micro SDHC card out there.

Samsung Pro line up.
This is memory product series developed at 2012.
PRO stands for all sort of protections, waterproof, X-Ray, Magnets, you name it.

At 2014 Galaxy S5 G900F become famous at surviving due it IP67.
But mobile phone screen alone, this is not bullet proof.
If you are after stored data protection, you need an special armored Micro SD card.

In a way this was a major convenience for Samsung, they had invent the technology for the card at 2012, at 2014 they made a mobile phone this worth using this technology.
With out needing any AI assistance,  your obvious choice this was the Samsung Pro Micro SD card.
Armored card, at 64GB,  this supporting Writing 20MB/s  &  Reading 80MB/s speed, fast enough for 4K video recording at 2014.

Samsung this is known memory maker for the PC market, 1995 and later.
Samsung was considered as reliable and affordable.
But everything changed when Samsung engaged with mobile phone business.
SD card storage market followed a price competition of their own, as new formed lobby.

Micro SDHC UHS-I Card history, 2012~2026.
It looks like that Samsung still using the word PRO,  my own and actual SD card model this is discontinued.
But this series it is still here, with increased data transfer speeds.

For applications that data survival stored over an SD card, this is a primary requirement?
You are obligated at double checking prior buying any generic Micro SD.

SD cards they still retain their popularity, as external storage, at mobile phones, thermal imagers and other portable applications.
I am not making any  brand advertising, here,  you just get motivated so to search by your self, for better available solutions.
