Title: UNI-T modular cables UT-L06 / UT- L09 Very poor operating temperature limit 40C
Post by: Kiriakos GR on October 18, 2026, 05:19:17 PM
UNI-T this has two modular cables UT-L06 / UT- L09, and many more regular complete DMM test leads.

The problem with these UNI-T cables, this is very poor operating temperature limits , you need to see the back of the actual product blister, in order to read these limits.
Low side at -20C and high side this is at just +40C

I would expect +60C as minimum, and or +80C especially for AC/DC current measurements.

40C this is summer timer outdoor temperature, and not an operating temperature limit.  :P
By this choices, UNI-T  this destroying the faith of the customer with the specific products.

An second issue this is the quality of the 4mm banana this terminates at the HH DMM input.
Most low-end test leads they have a spliced pin instead a true lantern shaped banana.  :P

UNI-Trend this is well known about making a poor job, at the presentation with stock photographs of their own products.

UNI-Trend this is well known for not elaborating with international voices about receiving a good advice.
The major issue I think that is the portion of arrogance, at management level.

I am not getting paid, so to solve UNI-Trend DMM division problems.
ITTSB Europe this is an information's resource.
We deliver the news as is.

The sad part this is that UNI-Trend HQ this even ignores, customers incoming feedback this delivered due UNI-Trend EU.
The worst part this is their missing politeness, they do not even thank you, when you are pointing out to them the sum of detected issues.
