Title: Standard Fluke digital multimeters do not have a dedicated "sensor mode" button
Post by: overvolt on October 22, 2026, 10:33:11 AM
This is a fresh AI response that I got in my question.

Standard Fluke digital multimeters do not have a dedicated "sensor mode" button ..

And I think that we should do a list, about HH DMM these supporting an dedicated  "sensor mode" button.

I know, Kiriako's loves his U1272A because these include an relative software conversion function SCALE Mode.
This allows you to hook up an external clamp current sensor and automatically scale the current input, an mV to Ampere conversion.

Are they any other HH DMM with similar feature build in?
KYORITSU has adopt that at specific models too, for their KEW8115 clamp sensor.

My quick answer,  U1272A this is unique over our planet, it supports all three known conversions.
100mv/A , 10mV/A , 1/mV/A.

Other brands might support 10mV/A and 1/mV/A, or just the 10mV/A.

I do not have any details about KYORITSU.

DEREE  DE-208A this supports "sensor mode"

HIOKI this has also an model this supports "sensor mode" (but I do not have memory of the actual model).
