Rohde & Schwarz HZO50 AC/DC Current Probe 5mA to 30 Amps 100KHz

HZO50 AC/DC Current Probe 5mA to 30 Amps 100KHz, this circulated at 2009 under the brand name of HAMEG.
Rohde & Schwarz owns HAMEG, and later on, Rohde & Schwarz offered this probe as HZC50 for their power meter analyzer.

HZO50 AC/DC Current Probe, Pico TA189, both are brother models, of German and English engineering.

Pico TA189 (HZO50) this is our exceptional and European made probe.
But incoming documentation this is very basic.

Attached the HZO50 specifications - User Manual. (in three languages).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do read over the internet, all sort of questions about TA189 (HZO50) actual performance.
What is the lowest current that it can measure?
What is the maximum inrush current that it can measure?
Why the noise floor appears high?

But no one asking the primary questions, these are relative to were this probe it is connected at?
Is it connected to regular Oscilloscope with good connection to Earth?
Is it connected to USB Oscilloscope?
Is it connected to HH DMM?
Is it connected to Bench-top DMM,with good connection to Earth?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ODM this GMC-I PROSys ltd, product model CP35.
The probe this is manufactured with electronics and outer shell material, both contributing at minimizing external interference.

But any probe with out a good connection to Earth ground, this will have an elevated noise floor.
Its somewhat peculiar of the why Pico Technology support engineers, they give poor answers to their customers, when they complain of probe noise.  :P

I will skip the teaching of good practices to follow for connection of an external probe to a measuring equipment.
And I will simply say,  that bench-top measuring equipment them including earth ground, these assist any external probe, this to deliver less possible noise floor.
