Cheap USB 2.0 Active Extension Repeater Cable for DMM data logging

This is the third article in favor of USB 2.0 Active Extension Repeater Cable.

Terminus FE1.1s this is the Low End budget Chip, in contrast to Terminus FE1.1 High end.

It appears speaking of product availability:
80% of budget cables they use Terminus FE1.1s Chip
While solutions using Terminus FE1.1 they are just three or four worldwide.

Long story in sort, DMM data logging due USB to IR ( dedicated accessory), this is not that demanding application, regarding bandwidth.
And Terminus FE1.1s this supporting single transaction handling in the unit of time, this cannot be overloaded.

Single transaction handling in the unit of time
Here comes one demanding example,  SUA1000XL by APC, this supporting Smart Signaling due USB 2.0
This translates to multiple transactions ( multiple information packets) they can be send due the USB buss.
Multiple transaction handling, this will warranty that all information's they will arrive at the same timing.

DMM data logging, this is considered as Single transaction handling, and therefore all cheap active extensions will work.

The problem with Low End active USB cables:
a ) They are sold by ghost brands unbranded
b ) The cable this can be of lowest quality, this not tolerating abuse in contrast to a permanently installed cable.
c ) The cable does not have AWG markings, it might use lowest quality of copper alloy.
d ) You cannot use this cable in a wide range of applications
e ) THE PRICE ...  while you may find lengths from 5m to 20m (single product) as max, most listings they have inflated pricing.

Speaking of personal preference, I still consider an active cable (branded one) with Terminus FE1.1 as a more safer bet.
Long run of USB 2.0 cable  (5m to 30m), this is not a popular application, and you can hardly resale such a cable in case that you do not actually need it any more.
Therefore, I do prefer getting married with a good quality of accessory, even when I do not use it that often.
