AI this might deliver correct responses, if Human intelligence this asks first the correct questions.
Actually entire human race, this is failing at 95% at making the correct questions, to any one.
And the first sensed the problem, these are our ancient Greek philosophers / teachers.

Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle (DMM data logging), this has in common WiFi router radio band at 2.4GHz.
According to AI, by us getting control of our WiFi router settings, we can manually create a safe space, this giving more room to breath any Bluetooth USB dongle.

Your Mandatory Action Plan
To keep your internet running smoothly while preventing your Bluetooth 4.0 dongle from failing, apply these exact settings in your Sercomm Speedport interface:

1) Lock to Channel 11: As established, keeping the router on Channel 11 pushes the heavy Wi-Fi traffic away from the lower frequencies, leaving open slots for your Bluetooth dongle's connection phase.

2) Force 20 MHz Width: This is non-negotiable now.
If the router uses 40 MHz width, it will take up almost the entire 2.4 GHz spectrum, leaving virtually zero clean air channels for the Bluetooth dongle to use its Frequency Hopping feature.

Other considerations:
Use an USB 2.0 cable extension 4~5 m long.
Place the Bluetooth USB dongle three meters away from your WiFi router.
Line of sight:
Selecting high ground as mounting location, two meters height from the floor, this will aloud 360 degree coverage.
2.5M of height this even better.
Placement of the Bluetooth USB dongle over a wooden bookshelf , you can hope for 360 degree coverage.
Placement over a wall base,  this will limit coverage at 180 degree.
