EU Regulation: All power adapters 25-100W must be USB PD by Dec 2028

USB PD this is latest electronic design at chargers technology.
This is technology developed five years ago.

PD power supply technological background, the short version, this technology were developed by true experts in the field, and actual manufacturing sources they are very few.   

Vast majority of brands in China, they are still unable to adopt PD at their manufacturing and they use old technology instead, which this translates to measurable power losses at the side of electrical conversion.
And they also use of electronic components from unknown sources,  home made chargers.

Latest EU Regulation this is effective by Dec 2028
The new change, all official imports of chargers and PSU they will be inspected for compliance.
Any unworthy trash this will be blocked.

Old stock of chargers within EU,  this will be sold but never be restocked.
From Dec 2028 up to Dec 2029, this is transition period, and consumers they should be careful, so them to inspect, if they are getting fresh technology for their money within localized markets.

There is a 10% of consumers buying directly from Chinese websites,  they are totally unprotected against scam.
It cost nothing to China, adding PD label at all their production.
And hope that European idiots will eat the bate, due the low cost pricing. 

In conclusion,   true PD chargers and power supply, by design they do live much longer.
The latest adopted as universal connectivity due USB-C connector, this translates that few chargers within a home, they can be used by all family members.
No need swapping charger type, when you get a fresher mobile phone.
Electric bill per household it will shrink significantly.
And or, significantly less solar power will be wasted for mobile phone charging.
