I just read an story about Picoscope 2000 Series.

The user, set next to power inverter a Picoscope 2208B (USB Scope), and the waveform shown as full of noise, in comparison to a Bench-top Oscilloscope.

The user, discover by him self, that by relocating Picoscope 2208B unit a few centimeter away from the inverter,  all that portion of radiated EMI this when away, and the waveform cleans right up.  :)

In the world of Oscilloscopes, best practice this is the Oscilloscope unit, this be placed at least one meter away from the DUT.
Even all serious Oscilloscope manufacturers, they do certify their products about radiated EMI (noise), at that distance too.

Best defense against radiated EMI (noise).
Use entire Oscilloscope probe wire, as clearance distance, from the DUT (Picoscope 2000 Series).

Bench-top Oscilloscope,
these has a connection to Earth Ground, due their AC mains power cable.
Such a shielding, this assist at noiseless measurements, even when DUT, this placed even next to a Bench-top Oscilloscope.

I do not own any Picoscope 2000 Series unit.
But if you do?
You better read the User Manual, for any reference regarding Earth Ground and shielding best practices.
