In previews years, I had two incidents of low cost plug-in power meter, these be damaged and stop working, with out any good reason.
Back in time, I did choose DCUU PM9913, due it entire offering of features.
But product long term reliability, this was a bet.

One year later, I have now proofs that I did a very good choice.
This instrument it has a primary position over my workbench, and not be hidden somewhere this collecting dust.
AC power verification of small loads, this is essential at many occasions, of products troubleshooting.   

When you do not have such an instrument, you simply skip such testing.
But when you do own such an instrument, anything tested this leaves from the repairs lab, by you having an ultimate sense of confidence.

All these months I had the wild hope, that and others will feel motivated, so to get this instrument and to add it in their own workflow.
And that we might have an opportunity to share or exchange experiences within my Blog, DCUU PM9913 this is still a low cost experiment if you wish to see it that way.


Speaking of expectations, I thought that DCUU brand this might be further motivated, so to improve their website, and make it more friendly to western customers.
But they simply skip this opportunity, of their single phase power meter these to won further visibility, by them doing nothing. 

About me, I will simply say, that I am glad that I got out of my box, and searched the market alone, and selected something that really works, and this does not cost a fortune.

As first I will say that I am glad, that PM9913 this succeed to become a usable product solution at your workbench. 

From the other hand, there is a great number of people out there, them be unable to adopt properly in their workflow even a good quality DMM.
They can not think alone even the basics, starting of what they need to measure as first?   

An single phase power meter, this is an instrument for Power Efficiency Testing.
Only a smart and experienced individual, he can use the best self of such an instrument at electronics troubleshooting, and or at freshly repaired product verification / quality control. 

In simple English, Kiriakos and use of advanced electrical T&M instruments, its like a second nature to him.
He used his time so to study theory of operation, he did a lot of practicing, he invested much more time so to discover of which tools they are more useful at his own electrical applications.

There is a saying, the room at the Top of a pyramid this is narrow, and this belongs to the single worthy individual whom succeed to get there.
