My best advice when using eBay for Military Surplus of electronic spare parts

This advice comes from a personal experience.

At the year 2010, I did find on eBay, stock of seven rotary switch, so to make by seven dial decade resistors box.
And I did order them, and use them at my project.

The seller told me, that these items were spare parts, from a project this handled by NASA.
Back then, I did searched according the part number so to find any traces of product documentation, and nothing found.
I thought that Janco Corporation this is just another product manufacturer, like everyone else.
In fact this company is or was, a supplier of American Army, Air-force and Navy. 

Military Surplus electronic  spare parts, they come with Military NSN codes.
Some of the are registered at specific databases.

They are times that Military Surplus spare parts, they because obsolete, mostly because the American army this renew their equipment.
Relative spare parts stock, this is no longer needed.
Then any remaining stock this end up to eBay.

Long story in sort,  if you find such class of spares on eBay, always get one more than of what you actually need.
Because these might be the last parts in stock, over the planet earth.
