I do own several 9V NIMH battery cells, of different age.
Neither at the year 2025, no one of the Asian battery charger makers, him came with a product (NIMH charger), which that will offer battery capacity test automation for the 9V NIMH.
Back in time, I did a product review about alkaline battery cells, and I was have to make a peculiar load tester especially for 9V cells.
This be able to offer adjustable range from 10 ~ 230 mA.
Nowadays, my FLUKE 8846A, this is capable to measure simultaneously voltage and current, and with TsDMMViewer I can see both graphs at my computer screen.
The only information that I has missing, this was
9V discharge rates table this be converted in mA.
As reference it is taken specifications of:
Capacity :300mAhNominal voltage: 8.4v
Discharge Cut-off voltage 7V
1C = 300mA
0.5C = 150mA
0.4 = 120
0.3 = 90
0.2 = 600.1C = 30mA
Since 2012, any reliable testing report of 9V NIMH, this includes capacity estimate according discharge rate at 0.2C
