ANSMANN AA NiMH 2500 mAh Max-e Third revision update at January 2025

ANSMANN AA NiMH 2500 mAh Max-e, first market appearance at 2/2018.

By investigating ANSMANN technical and marketing documentation, I did discover that 2500 mAh Max-e specifications they were silently revised at the year 2020.
Product appearance did not change, but newer chemistry this increased number of charging cycles from 500 to 1000.   

At January 2025, ANSMANN revised once more this product, new chemistry this is now able for 1500 charging cycles.
This time, product appearance changed to white cylinder with dark blue printing.

Any loyal reader of my Blog he is well aware, that I have no love in favor ANSMANN NiMH, I have test and use many cells these offered to me by ANSMANN UK several years ago.
Max-e or regular high drain, both types shown sort lifecycle of two to four years as max.

My new question this is if ANSMANN performed it homework correctly this time? 
Is this fresh revision of 2500 mAh Max-e something special?
Do they plan to challenge Panasonic eneloop overall performance and longevity?

I do hesitate spending my own hard earned cash, for buying samples to test, because of a given promise due ANSMANN Marketing.
