Uniross this is another trader of Chinese products, this based in UK and EU.

Uniross trading chargers and batteries, but the management, this does constantly poor job at everything.
1) Products marketing = actual product features presentation most of times incorrect.
2) Information's printed over a product packaging = most of times incorrect.
3)Specifications delivered by Datasheet = most of times incorrect.

This topic stands here as one way of in public expression, of all customers complains which have been pile up.
Uniross 8.4 Ni-MH 200 Series
No one knows of what this 200 Series translates to ?
After product removal from it packaging, there is printed on it minimum capacity 190 mAh.
If you download the damn datasheet,  battery photograph on it, this now demonstrates minimum capacity 180 mAh.

By me just typing this text, I started feeling that I am also in an elevator, this going down and further down, and Uniross 8.4 Ni-MH 200 Series capacity, this evaporates at every new step that I do.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a reasonable man and a professional electrician, and I write in public as technical content creator.
And above all I am a Greek, and I hate lies and the damn misinformation.

Lets perform a reboot.   :)

Here we have a toying of written expressions used at electrical specifications.
Nominal Capacity ……200mAh and  NO 200 series ...
Minimal Capacity ……190mAh
Entire pack of electrical specifications, this considers as target point, an 190 mAh of useful capacity battery.

Uniross 8.4 Ni-MH 210 Series .. this is production sold at third world, and far from EU,  what games Uniross play worldwide this is not my business.

Indeed, Uniross this is from the traders, which currently cause confusion in the market and they collect hate as a payment. :P
What it matters to me, this is if they are scammers?
And currently there is no hard evidence or proofs about that.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What a regular consumer, he should be aware about these 8.4V NiMH E-Block, this is that if he found them be lower than 185mAh, after four charge / recharge cycles, he better return them for getting a replacement.
There is plenty of small shops these selling outdated stock, and you may got such an old relic.

Even Panasonic, one of the greater Gods  :), this inform that a battery in long storage, this needs four cycles for having a chemical reactivation, so this be able to deliver according specifications.

About Uniross 8.4 Ni-MH
This specific NIMH, it is made of cylindrical long size elements (AAAA Type), these are the most robust design, if the factory does not play games at manufacturing process.
Cylindrical long size elements, they have best heat dissipation, when such a battery this is recharged 50 times per year, this may live up to 10 years.

Even so, Uniross this had on Amazon a bad day.  :-X
Its for me very hard to believe, that such a battery design this burst and melt.  ???
Burst and melt, this is more frequent, to low quality control production, of Cylindrical small in length elements in a battery of seven cells.

At this event, I think that something when wrong when this battery were charged and in storage, an short circuit happen at some point.

Attached all the photographs that I gather from the internet, due several hours of  in person research, mostly because Google this is not helpful any more at photographs search.
Note:   Blister packaging this is old stock at 2026.  100% carton box packaging this is the latest.
