Is this 3M 467MP Adhesive Transfer Tape anything special? Mobile phone repairs

3M 467MP, this is considered as globally acceptable material, for securing a battery within a mobile phone.

But other than it strength properties, this is not magical.
For long term use, it thermal range is at 10C ~ 40C, and the listed specs for 100C~200C this is it Max.

Sekisui #5760 thermal tape, this won popularity at 2005 as thermal tape about to attach, a heat-sink over graphic cards memory IC.

Sekisui Japan, this never designed #5760 as temperature transfer tape, company documents prove that major application this is making labels for workers.
Its a double sided sticky tape with good thermal tolerances (70C Max), but not a dedicated temperature transfer tape.

We are at 2026 =  twenty years later.
Sekisui #5760 this lost it popularity and few selling it (in small quantities), they keep a tremendously inflated pricing.

3M 467MP, this is more widely know today, but its also a victim of pricing scam (in small quantities).

Within EU, 3M 467MP stock there is in Germany, and pricing per roll this is extremely low.   
 
Nowadays even in Greece we have local production of inexpensive double sided sticky tape (acrylic - No foam).
50mm wide / 10M roll for just 1.5 EUR retail.

In conclusion.
3M or Sekisui or local production of tapes, there is not going to be any difference at thermal range of 10C ~ 40C = attaching a battery over a plastic or metal surface.   

3M advertising this refers to industrial applications, about attaching parts with in metal boxes / enclosures.
And or about attacking car accessories over painted surfaces.
In this regard, that strength properties they are a top priority, then it might be a better idea getting this 3M 467MP Adhesive Transfer Tape.
