U1273A and U1273AX Firmware Release Notes 4.02 ( Year 2021 )

Just today I become aware, that U1273A and U1273AX these received a new firmware update at the year 2021.

Firmware version this go up at 4.02

My instantly generated question, this was of why they did that? Especially when Keysight for the U1272A this stopped firmware development at 9/2015.

Is there any secret updates and for the U1272A?

After few minutes of data assessment, I did came with my own logical conclusion.   

While U1272A and U1273A, they have identical specifications, U1273A this is bonded with OLED display.
This translates that there is an different layer of software, this be responsible of how the measurements appear at the OLED display.
And more or less, the fixes of the newer firmware, they are U1273A specific. 

In the positive side of things, I will record at my notes, that both DMM they were discontinued with a mature firmware revision.
