Dear neighbors within the EURO Village
I have great to news to share, Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 this is an very significant pack of Regulations.
Short description = This is going to terminate the game of imported batteries with poor technical documentation and poor presentation of product features, life cycle information and even more parameters.
The latest EU Battery Regulation, they will throw out of the European market several European importers and Chinese brands, which was trading so far with out delivering enough transparency of what they are selling to us.

Product labeling:
All our batteries and rechargeable batteries are already correctly labeled in accordance with Article 13 and Annex VI.
The labeling includes: CE marking
Complete product specifications
Information on rechargeability or the note "Not rechargeable"
Marking of heavy metals (e.g., lead, cadmium)
Symbol for separate collection (already present on all products – implementation completed well ahead of the August 2025 deadline)
Future labeling requirements:
Further labeling requirements, which will apply from August 2026 or February 2027 (e.g., capacity information, service life, QR code), are already being planned.
Implementation will be carried out on time in close coordination with our manufacturers and development partners.
Technical documentation:
Declarations of conformity (DoCs) and the required test reports in accordance with the applicable harmonized standards are available for all affected products.
This documentation is continuously updated, particularly with regard to changes introduced by the Battery Regulation.
Producer responsibility and due diligence obligations:
We have implemented a comprehensive risk management system to fulfill our due diligence obligations along the supply chain. Furthermore, extended producer responsibility is ensured through appropriate take-back, recycling, and reporting systems.
Digital product passports:
The introduction of digital product passports for certain battery types is currently being prepared with our suppliers.
The technical implementation and integration into our product data has already begun – of course, on time to meet the requirements by February 2027.
