These accessories it is an significant example of how much attention to detail, ASRock demonstrates when they add their logo over a product.

These two might be OEM product of Taiwan, but they are build according to ASRock strict quality standards.
Product A from product B they do have a different imports to EU date ( stock found in Germany), even so slightly the paint gloss seems different.
 
Details worth noticing:

1) Super High speed cable = The Real thing and not a poor imitation, as they are all findings on eBay China.

2) High Quality connectors (front and back)

3) 19 Pin header and the panel, hand tested with Quality Control Pass sticker. ( its OK )  8)

4) Clearly visible text at the front = USB 3.0 SS = Super Speed

I have found an interesting topic at Microsoft community.
The cable at my panels: USB 3.0 Cable E119932 AWM 20276 80C 30V VW-1 COPARTNER

This is much more capable than operating at USB 3.0 specification, and succeed to also operate at USB 3.1

Today I had a blast ....  ;D 
AI this asked me if my USB 3.0 Front Panel bay this is a quality item?
And it did that because in the hidden world of OEM B2B, neither AI this can keep track of what is going on.

My own personal question, this is of where I can find a replacement, of this excellent USB 3.1 bay, if I ever need it?   


Excellence and quality of this specific 20pin double USB 3.0 ports connector, this starts by it manufacturing design.
Both USB 3.0 ports,  they are assembled (wires connection) and then molded in to a single body.

I when aware of this accessory as this be product of Gigabyte (year 2013) ,  then I have seen this identical design as ASRock, and nowadays as BIOSTAR (stock availability only in India).

Today at 2026, I am able to say the entire story of this product design, all players they are located in TAIWAN.  ;)
Product assembly: LOTES Co. Ltd. has been designing and manufacturing precision electronic interconnect components and hardware. 

Cable manufacturer:  Copartner Tech Corp. Taiwan

LOTES Co. Ltd  this is or was, business partner of Intel and Logitech.

Copartner Tech Corp. this has even supplied cables to Agilent / Keysight USB IR modules.

Why these two players alone, they won that much preference from serious industrial customers?
a) First class Raw materials, and lots of shiny copper.
b) Fully automated assembly machines
c) Per product quality inspection
d) International certifications for every continent.

How a regular user he can prove superiority of such cables / Bay extension ? 
And I am talking about electrical losses at 5V rail / USB 2.0 connectivity.

I have buy and waiting delivery, of one also of high quality, USB 2.0 active cable extension 5m,  FF1.1 Taiwanese chip inside.
This has 28/22AWG, 500 mA continues, dedicated cable for powering PC accessories ( not a mobile phone charger cable).

And my plan this is testing the cable with External HDD Enclosure 2,5'' IDE USB 2.0.

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H, this motherboard has superior design at USB 3.0, two dedicated 20 pin connector ports.
These designed to support only Apple devices charging at 1.5A as Fast charge.
Under regular conditions, these two ports they will deliver inrush current of 1.2A with out triggering any events.
(regular USB 3.0 ports supports up to 900mA)
 
The USB 3.0 front panel bay, this has 60cm length of high quality Copartner cable.
It is unfortunate, I can not verify if Copartner did use 22AWG or 24AWG for 5V power.

Either way, nowadays coming ahead an major electrical testing opportunity. 8)
GA-Z87X-UD5H +  USB 3.0 front Bay + USB 2.0 active cable extension 5m.
Will all involved succeed, to activate the most demanding USB 2.0 load ?           
And or to deliver up to the performance that they were deigned for? 
In a few days I will, and you will find out.

Why this info makes me happy?    Because even ASRock this requested highest AWG for 5V rail  ;)
Standard USB 3.0  20pin header, 60~80cm cable length this comes with 24 AWG, for rear brackets.

GA-Z87X-UD5H & ASRock P55 Extreme 4, they both have the need to supply 1.5A as Fast charge, and both requested 22 AWG wires for this special purpose.  ;)
