Both USB 3.0 ports, they are assembled (wires connection) and then molded in to a single body.
I when aware of this accessory as this be product of
Gigabyte (year 2013) , then I have seen this identical design as
ASRock, and nowadays as
BIOSTAR (stock availability only in India).
Today at 2026, I am able to say the entire story of this product design, all players they are located in TAIWAN.

How a regular user he can prove superiority of such cables / Bay extension ?
And I am talking about electrical losses at 5V rail / USB 2.0 connectivity.
I have buy and waiting delivery, of one also of high quality,
USB 2.0 active cable extension 5m, FF1.1 Taiwanese chip inside.
This has 28/22AWG, 500 mA continues, dedicated cable for powering PC accessories ( not a mobile phone charger cable).
And my plan this is testing the cable with External HDD Enclosure 2,5'' IDE USB 2.0.
