I have here an 65W GaN PD Wall Charger, single USB-C port.
And I got amazed when I use this as 5V power supply for a project of my.
Voltage regulation seemed as rock solid, when this tested at:
50mA
300mA
600mA
1.0A
1.5A
2.0A
I did use this Seasonic labeled PSU, as power source so to test USB cables and their power capabilities, due a programmable DC load.
The repeatability at stable delivery of voltage under all loads this caused to me an super positive impression.
Since the beginning of time, all pulsing power supply, they mention line regulation of 5%, and GaN this is not an exception.
But
line voltage regulation this is at the ACV side of the PSU.
While Voltage regulation at DC this specification never gets documented.
The marketplace along the manufacturer of Fresh GaN PD Wall Charger, not all but enough of them, they also mention this 1% Voltage regulation specification.
At 60mA DC current, output voltage regulation this is performed at 5ms = super fast
At higher DC current, voltage regulation this is performed at 150ms (according to USB development association in Taiwan).
Very soon I am going to run this test, by using the best measuring setup, so to verify at high digits resolution this miracle.

I did a first quick confirmation by using one of my U1272A.
I am after to confirm if such technology of PSU, this is good enough as PSU and for micro controller projects.
