I am totally unfamiliar of overall performance and life cycle of Energizer NiMH.
Never had any, and I do not have any experiences of my own.

But by reading the datasheet of AA 2300mAh Power Plus (NH15-2300), I did spotted something remarkable.
Energizer this did not hesitate to also test and deliver, technical specifications at discharge rate of 2C .

By 99% Energizer this is the only manufacturer worldwide, that tested their product at 4.6 Ampere constant discharge rate. 8)

I feel amazed and excited, because I am a constant seeker of worth talking about technology.
I am now sensing that Energizer engineers they run this test under the feeling of significant confidence, regarding the strength this hidden at their chemistry in use!

Most to all Chinese competitors, their products will be crippled if they were tested at 2C rate for a couple of times. :P

Attached the Energizer datasheet, for all Europeans to see, that Panasonic eneloop this is not the only one alive source of battery technology innovation.

I am on the same wagon with you, never selected or tested Energizer products performance at my battery powered tools.

I think as best idea, that you should invite them at ITTSB.
You are the most experienced products tester within Europe, and the most important detail, you own now a testing lab this overloaded by serious test equipment.

I will give it a try. Mostly because the very small battery manufacturers, they do not have any upper management team this leading serious marketing decisions.
When I am up to do testing free of charge, the brand which will do bargaining, regarding the quantity of samples this not worth promotion by my website.

PICO Technology along Fluke Corporation, both are customers of Energizer, and their products get shipped with Energizer alkaline.

PICO Technology UK, this prefer alkaline Industrial series.

I will also agree with the recommendation of @Overvolt, ITTSB this is 100% related to electrical test and measurement industry and equipment.
I do not see the reason of why Energizer, this will not be in favor of such a proposal.

Alkaline batteries this is another and a totally different sector.

About Fluke Corporation, I do not know if they continued using Energizer at 2025.
About picotech UK, indeed their special AC/DC current probe (product sample) TA-189, this arrived three years ago with Energizer 9V Industrial Alkaline.

TA-189 (high-precision current probe 4mA ~ 30A) this is now my Top ranked tool, for battery tests and battery charger analysis, with an Oscilloscope and or for precision measurements due a high precision multimeter.  :)
