Panasonic BQ-CC65 NiMH charger this this product design of 2021.

Panasonic wrote a poor user manual for it.
BQ-CC65 this varying charge current in relation to amount of installed batteries.
For AAA the average current this is 275mA (4pcs)  --- Max 1.2A  per two cells = 600mA
For AA  the average current this is 750mA (4pcs)  --- Max 3.2A  per two cells = 1600mA

Refresh Function
Panasonic gives an estimate of 13 hours for discharge and charge cycle.
4pcs 2000mAh Eneloop they require 3 Hours of charging, and therefore the discharge function alone, this require 10 Hours.
1900 ~ 2000mAh battery discharge this will performed at 200mA of current.
You may also think of that as 200mAh removal per hour, an AAA at 1000mAh this will require approximately five hours. 

Panasonic BQ-CC65
This charger does not support trickle charge, Panasonic hates trickle charge since the begging of time.
Its charging bay, as soon it sense battery FULL, charging voltage this will become zero.

Due to the aggressive DC current at 2 pcs and 3 pcs of battery cells charging, it is recommended to charge exclusively 4 pcs combination of the same battery type.
Unfortunately even the combination of 2pcs AA charging along with 2 pcs AAA this is not at the safe side, when we care of its battery cell health in long term.

In the positive side of things, BQ-CC65 this using modern electronics, with smaller measuring error for voltage and current, this be at the range of +/- 10%.
Older chargers they have measuring error +/- 20%
Panasonic BQ-CC65 this is from the very few chargers that battery capacity measurement this is more accurate.


The major mistake that Panasonic did at product design, its the narrow spacing from to cell to cell.
This charger it should have larger dimensions, and a different design of bays, the removal of AAA this is not easy.

Panasonic designed this product under the concept of portability.
But their second mistake this is product pricing, this is too high.
At the price range of 30 Euros retail, BQ-CC65 this it would worth the price.
