Feedback six months later. I have now the impression, that even the
400ml bottle, this is
not loaded with sufficient quantity of chemical material, for it price.
And I am talking about KONTAKT SPRAY T6 OSZILLIN 400ML.
After using it, in
a small number of applications, small and large, the bottle
fall down fast from FULL 100% at 20% of remaining material.
At the example of Fire extinguisher, you are aware upfront, that this will run empty at it first use.
While KONTAKT SPRAY T6, 400ml, this is capable to release it entire internally stored content within
three minutes. In other words, we have
a run time at which every second counts in time and in Euro cents.
Cost of use calculation: We have three factors here.
1) 400ml
2) Three minutes of run time.
3) Retail value approximately 8 Euro
8 Euro divided by 180 seconds, this translates to the cost of
0.044 euro cent per second.
Average time required for small applications, this is three to
five seconds.
An rough estimate this is
25 euro cent per five seconds of use.
If you are in a problematic situation, lots of dirt over electrical contacts, and you do extend the spaying period in seconds, then
you can easily spend an entire Euro coin for this single application.
Currently I have only one solid conclusion. This 200 ml spray container this is not worth buying at all, if you are an electrician.
While neither the 400ml container, this is sufficient as long term solution.
In other words, because its unpredictable the moment that the spray can will run empty, you need keeping in stock and of a second one.
In deed, chemicals production business, it must be profitable, otherwise it will not worth be around.
But they do play pricing games on us.
400ml this it must be defined as smallest container, and 800 ~ 1000ml this must defined as
medium size container. I have no idea of what costs might be if you do buy an entire carton box, per product code?
But small labs cannot afford doing that.
Especially this period of time, at which freelancer electronic repair labs, they are dying and closing down.
The demand for electronics repairs, this has shrink down to a point that small business cannot survive.
